What can I expect from my first appointment?

The first appointment begins with a discussion with the doctor to get to know you. This discussion explores if our provided care matches your individual needs, and is not a commitment by any means. From there, if we decide to pursue corrective care, we will move on to a series of exams (including X-rays for non-pediatric/prenatal patients) to take a closer look at the cause of your symptoms. After further discussion of the exam findings and establishing goals, the first appointment concludes with your first chiropractic adjustment. 

​For those seeking wellness care, we will also go through the initial corrective exams, then review previous chiropractic history and create your care plan together.



What is Webster certification?

Both chiropractors here at Foundation Chiropractic are Webster-Certified. It is a certification in the Webster chiropractic technique, developed by Dr. Larry Webster. He developed this technique for laboring women to help with the ease of birth, and to better train chiropractors in family care. Check out our Pregnancy & Pediatric page for more information. Does Foundation Chiropractic accept insurance?

We remain out-of-network with insurance in order to keep your care in the hands of you and your doctor. Insurance coverage for chiropractic care is very limited by only focusing on pain control, which is only the surface of what our chiropractic approach can accomplish. In our experience, many insurance companies require specialist copays that exceed our regular fees. Remaining a cash-based practice prevents insurance companies from controlling and increasing patient fees, therefore keeping care costs fair and individualized.
